This is what the last day of January 2021 looked like in Gran Canaria. An impressive silhouette of Tenerife’s volcano Teide watches over a glorious day at Gran Canaria’s Costa Alegre beach in Arguineguin.
This area has been always been known as Costa Alegre by islanders, but some tourists call it La Lajilla beach or even Dorado Beach after the nearby hotel. In 2020 it was officially recognized as Costa Alegre Beach by the Ayuntamiento de Mogán.
